STATEMENT ABOUT THE WORK

40 minute performance, in 4 parts.

Experimental guitarist William Fowler Collins performs a chilling cinematic soundscape. A recent review by Aquarius Records of his latest album suggests his music "is the closest comparison to an imagined soundtrack for 'The Road' that we have ever heard".

Performing live visuals Valdes interprets Collins' music as an epic journey through New Mexico's Jornada del Muerto. She takes the viewer on a meditative dream through a devastating atomic landscape.
