In October of 2002 I created a form to collect thoughts about nuclear arms from visitors to my studio at the Headlands Center for the Arts. Below is the original introductory text. This project is ongoing. Please participate; download the form, fill it out and mail to the address below.

Dear Fellow Headlands-ers:

I am requesting your assistance in the testing of a new project. As some of you may know my work for the past year has focused on the history of nuclear arms development and testing in the United States. My investigations have led me to examine documents from science, the military, and the media.

As of late, I have conceived of a project which is community based--much larger in scale and scope than any work I have created thus far. This project focuses on collecting thoughts as documents. These documents act as a point of juxtaposition to the scientific, military and media based documents I have researched.

Your thoughts are vital and important. There is no right or wrong thought. There is no memory more significant than another.
